UKI Fun Match

For those of you unfamiliar with UKI, it is another organization which holds agility trials ( Like the AAC, CKC, AKC, etc., all of these organizations have slightly different rules, games, and course styles. UKI is an international organization, so their courses tend to have more of a European style than the AAC.

Members - If you're not playing in this Fun Match, please consider volunteering to help. See Volunteer Here

Just for fun, if you're interested you can find the 9 courses that were built at Paws4Fun for the UKI Canadian Open By Video, 28-30 August 2020 here -

Paws4Fun Members Only -

This is your opportunity to try out a couple of UKI courses, on Saturday 19-Sept, at a fun match at Paws4Fun, for no charge. Members only, this free fun match will have two UKI events, Speedstakes and Agility. Speedstakes, similar to AAC Jumpers, is a course of 19 sequenced obstacles built using 1 tunnel and 9 jumps. Agility, similar to AAC Standard, is a course of 19 sequenced obstacles built using 1 tunnel, 7 jumps, Dog Walk, Teeter and 12 weaves. But remember that this is a fun match, so you can do as few or as many obstacles you want - skip the contacts, or the weaves, do only half the obstacles, jump whatever height you like. The goals are to give you a flavour of the UKI style of course, and to have fun! Basic agility skills are your only requirement. You will get 2 runs on each course, 3 minutes per run.

Those of you on FaceBook may have seen that Paws4Fun member Kristy (Dana) Nguyen participated in the UKI Canadian Open By Video last weekend, building and running the courses at Paws4Fun. In response to the interest this engendered, Kristy is kindly hosting this fun match to give the rest of us chance to try out UKI courses. Kristy will be there to answer questions, provide guidance, and provide basic information on how to participate in virtual UKI events.
